Questions
Questions before you order
Is this a subscription?
No. This page sells a one-time purchase: no subscription, no auto-ship.
How does this compare to fish oil?
A raw 6oz fillet has about 910 mg omega-3 EPA + DHA (USDA FoodData Central). A typical fish-oil supplement provides about 1,000 mg fish oil with about 300 mg EPA + DHA, and doses vary widely (NIH fact sheet). The fillet is dinner, too, with about 38 g protein. We make no health claims about either one.
Is your salmon really wild-caught?
Yes! Our salmon is 100% wild-caught in Alaskan waters. Never farmed, never imported.
How is the salmon shipped?
Every fillet is portioned right off the dock, vacuum-sealed, then flash-frozen to -40°F within hours of the catch. It is never thawed and refrozen on its way to you, and it ships frozen with dry ice. If the box turns up soft, warm or split, tell us and we replace the order. You do not send anything back.
How long does delivery take?
Orders ship every Tuesday morning and arrive in 1–2 days. Order before 6am Eastern on Tuesday and it ships that Tuesday. Shipping is free on every order.
How should I store my salmon?
Keep it frozen until you're ready to use it. Sealed in the freezer, it keeps 1 year. To thaw, move a sealed portion to the fridge overnight, or put it in a bowl of cold water for about 30 minutes. Once thawed, we recommend eating it within 1-2 days for the best quality.
